# Introduction

**Manual Product Sort** extends Shopware 6 with a fixed product order **per category**. You arrange products in the administration using drag-and-drop; in the shop, items appear in exactly that order — regardless of price, name, or rating.

## Benefits

- **Full control** over how products appear on category and listing pages
- Place **recommendations and highlights** at the top without editing sort numbers on every product
- **Clear interface** directly in the category editor
- Sort **variants** individually or view them grouped under the main product
- **Hints in the administration** when a product would not currently be visible in the shop (e.g. inactive or clearance sale out of stock)

## Requirements

- **Shopware 6.6** or **6.7**
