How To Install In-Store Pickup Plus for Magento 1

NETZKOLLEKTIV In-Store Pickup Plus allows customers to simply choose In-Store Pickup as shipping method during checkout. This version provides a Payment Module for Cash Payment which is only displayed if In-Store Pickup shipping method has been chosen.

Installation

Installation can be done manually via FTP or SSH by copying the files in the corresponding Magento directories. Alternatively, use Magento Connect by navigating to System -> Magento Connect -> Magento Connect Manager. Then upload the our Magento Connect ready archive.

After installation please clear the cache. If Magento Compiler is active, please start Magento compiliation process.

Configuration

The extension consist out of a payment and a shipping method for store pickup and cash payment. Both methods can be combined.

Payment Method Configuration

To enable Cash payment navigate to System -> Configuration -> Payment Methods. Look in the accordion for Cash  and enable the method. You can also define the title and the infotext which is shown when selecting the payment method as well as the overview text which is being shown in the left sidebar of onepage checkout. If you only want to have the method available in the admin backend, switch “Enabled in Frontend” to “No”.

Shipping Method Configuration

To enable In Store Pickup shipping method navigate to System -> Configuration -> Shipping Methods. Look in the accordion for *In-Store Pickup Plus*  and enable the method.  If you only want to have the method available in the admin backend, switch “Enabled in Frontend” to “No”.
